Sept: Wearing, watching, wanting!

It's time for my monthly WWW! I love sharing these with you guys. It basically gives me an excuse to tell you what I do every day: 1. wear my favorite clothes over and over again, 2. watch an obnoxious amount of TV and YouTube, and 3. add things to my online shopping cart impulsively, then indecisively don't order it.

It hurts to write that and have it be so true. Moving on.

Let's get started. All the goods are linked😙

#1 Nike Air Force 1 Sage Low

Credit: Nike

Ok, so I had wanted these for SO long, but not like SUPER bad enough to buy them right away, you know? Is that just me? Anyway, I ended up asking for them as a birthday gift from my Mimi (Mim, I know you're out there...hi! I love you!)

These are Nike AF1s but with a platform bottom (LOVE!!!!). I get so many compliments and questions about them as a different version of the original Air Forces! I have them in white but they have such cute pastel colors too.

I seriously wear these every single day (trying sooo hard to keep them clean, successful so far—knock on wood). Originally shown by one of my favorite social media influencers, Jaci Marie Smith (love her Instagram, podcast and YouTube especially)!

On the original Nike website, which is where I got mine, these are $100, but I believe a few clothing websites like ASOS or Urban may have them in and out of stock for a bit cheaper. No matter what, if you're like me and a huge white sneaker fan and platform fan, these are going to be worth the money.

#2 Lululemon Baller Hat

I'm obsessed with these hats! I have both the black and the gray one.

Here's me wearing it and taking full advantage of the mask/hat/sunglasses combo as an excuse to not socialize. Sorry.

Ok, so these aren't the most traditional style, the front is a bit taller and more pronounced than like baseball caps that kind of fit tight to your head. Like it's more like a trucker hat? I think? The only reason I say this is because I was a tiny bit skeptical at first because I had always only worn like form-fitting baseball caps. But these have seriously become my favorite. The Lulu fabric is so sleek looking and the style looks so cute with like a baggy shirt and black leggings and sneakers. I definitely recommend. If you wanna try a hat like this but don't wanna spend that Lulu money (I feel you), here's one I found for less than $10!!

#1 "Schitt's Creek" (Netflix)

To start, I was watching this BEFORE they popped off at the Emmy's, but if you hadn't, there's your sign that you need to. I've always been a huge fan of lighthearted sitcoms, but this one is funnier than the average. The Rose family, who were once filthy rich and living in a massive mansion, one day lost all of their money suddenly and end up living in a run-down motel in a town called Schitt's Creek in the middle of nowhere. Watching the family try to adjust to the "new lifestyle" is entertaining, to say the least.

And if you didn't know what I was talking about at the beginning of this section, the show's team literally swept the comedy category of the Emmy's on Sunday night, taking home seven primetime awards and nine Emmys in all, which is the most ever for a comedy in a single year. If I can't convince you to stream it on Netflix tonight, that should.

#2 "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" (Hulu)

Need I go on?

#3 Biography Documentaries (currently in the middle of both)

Not that I was looking to get into the genre of biographical documentaries, but I recently started two and they're both so interesting and powerful.

One, in honor of our QUEEN Ruth Bader Ginsburg: "RBG" on Hulu

*Grabbing the book "Notorious RBG: The Life and Times of Ruth Bader Ginsburg" too.

And the YouTube original Paris Hilton Doc: "This is Paris"

#4 Podcasts

I'm fully aware that podcasts fall into the "listening" category, not watching, buuuut I make the rules here. In last month's WWW, I shared with you guys some of my favorite people to watch on YouTube, and since I've been listening to a lot of podcasts, I thought I'd give you my top few recent favs: (oldies can be found around the blog)

- MOOD with Lauren Elizabeth

- We Bought a House with Claudia Sulewski and Finneas

- Jackie Schimmel's pod, makes me LOL

- Just Women's Sports (sorry men! wait, do any of you read this? hi tyler.)

#1 Gold hoops

Credit: Urban Outfitters

I don't have anything toooooo exciting for my wish list this month, honestly these are all things that I've been meaning to get but haven't gotten around to making the purchase, ya know? (seems like a trend.) Anyway, like a year ago I got these chunky gold hoops from H&M that I wore like every day, they were super ~versatile~ but unfortunately, not-so-great quality. The gold tarnished and now they are a strange mix of like silver and gold, not cute. And recently, chunky gold hoops have become quite the trend so now there are all sorts of styles and types, and it overwhelms me...AKA why I haven't replaced the old ones. They're I honestly just have to pick a pair. It's not that hard Lauren.

#2 New fiction books

I went home for a weekend and literally read a whole book (What Goes Up by Katie Kennedy). It kickstarted my fiction book obsession that I have waves of. I normally only read fiction, so a few of my last books have been a forced branch-out of non-fiction, just isn't the same. They're fine but a whole different vibe. And while I'm in classes all day reading textbooks I'm not feeling very ~educational~ by 8pm. I like my made up dumb stuff, Nicholas Sparks junk. I'm looking for some easy reads that don't really require thinking, (I feel like I completely take the point out of reading but.....)

If you have any recommendations send 'em my way. I think I may start here:

Reese Witherspoon's Book Club

#3 Eyelashes

Yes thats simply it, I want eyelashes. Seriously, I have none.

No I do, I guess, but not really. I have the thinnest, lightest, most LAME eyelashes of all time and you genuinely cannot see them unless I'm wearing mascara and curled the sh*t out of them for like 40 minutes. That is also an ISSUE because I hate wearing makeup. So I've been on the search for an alternative. I keep finding myself clicking on the sponsored posts of Lashify? Which are lash extensions that you apply by yourself, but apparently they're super natural looking and tough—like you can keep them on for idk, a while. When it comes down to it though, I'm hilarious for pretending I can and WILL be able to do that. Also almost made an appointment for real lash extensions this summer but never got around to it, too scared.

SO more realistically, I may invest in an eyelash serum to grow these girls.

Last winter I tried the Milk Growhouse Lash Serum, and I didn't see any results at all :(

I need clean and natural ingredients, I mean these are my EYES I don't wanna fudge that up w any chemicals. I eat carrots for one reason and one reason only.

After doing some research I might try one of these next:

- Rapid Lash Eyelash Enhancing Serum

- Vegamour GRO+ Advanced Lash Serum

- Castor oil?? (cheap and honestly rated most effective.)

These can be pricey, but at this point, um, it's 2020 and seven months into a global pandemic...I'll buy all the help I can get.

SO guys, those are my long-winded monthly recs. Barely squeezed it in in time honestly, Oct. 1 here we come🍂🎃✨👻💛

Thanks for reading, as always! XO
